This just in: registration for one of the best gravel rides in the world is almost full. What is Rebecca’s Private Idaho? It’s a “gravel grinder” bike ride of either 100 (the Big Potato) or 50 (the Small Fry) miles that takes you into the gloriously rugged backcountry above Sun Valley, Idaho on September 2nd. The course takes riders up and over Trail Creek Pass and into the heart of the Challis National Forest before heading back down to town on a rowdy descent. A rocking party with live music in the town square awaits. It’s truly not one to be missed. Make a Labor Day weekend out of it by staying in town at the Limelight Hotel or Hotel Ketchum.
