Curated by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the annual Backcountry Film Festival is a tribute to winter landscapes and the people who are lucky enough to experience them. Films featured show these spectacular places in all their wildness and beauty. It’s a true celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Funds raised help to support local conservation and avalanche safety courses. The 15th annual Backcountry Film Festival will tour over 110 cities from October 2019 through May 2020, reaching over 22,000 backcountry adventurers.
